This HP dv9000 Pavilion laptop computer is one of a batch of machines that used to be our break out room stock at larger conferences. It has been flight cased from new and as a result this HP dv9000 Pavilion is in near mint condition, unlike so many examples found on eBay, Gumtree, etc.

It hasn't seen much use in the last few years, but fired up immediately without issue and has continued to run on soak test reliably. The battery holds charge well and provides 2 hours of use, inexpensive replacements are available on eBay if needed.

• Network port
• Firewire port
• 5 in 1 card reader port

It comes with the Windows Vista operating system installed. It has been tested with Linux Mint 19.3 "Tricia"  - Xfce (64-bit) which would be a great free upgrade with a Windows like interface. It would be perfect for general web browsing, Skype, YouTube, etc.

One unusual feature of the HP dv9000, which I have never seen on a laptop before, is a pop out wireless remote control for media playback functions. Some of the key controls even worked using Linux Mint right out of the box.

A versatile mixer like the Soundcraft LX7 MkII is great for conferences, but is also suited for religious worship, webcasting, live music and home recording too.

These units have not had a great deal of use and were flight cased from new. Unlike other I have seen advertised on eBay, Gumtree, etc. these are still in excellent electrical condition, all the faders slide freely without crackles, all the knobs are present and work smoothly.
