For Sale - Vintage Sony Vaio PCG-FX Laptop PC - £50

This Sony Vaio PCG-FX laptop computer is one of a batch of machines that used to be our flag ship conference laptops around the time of the Millennium. It has remained and amazingly well preserved time capsule of the early Noughties period of business computing.

For sale - Sony Vaio laptop PC - £50

It hasn't seen active service in the last decade, but fired up immediately without issue and has continued to run on soak test reliably. The only hardware issue to report is that the battery has lost the ability to hold charge, which is unsurprising given the unit's age.

As with the other ex corporate laptops currently for sale, it has been cased it's entire life and used relatively little compared to a personal item, it is still in excellent condition.

  • CD/DVD drive
  • Diskette drive
  • USB ports x 2
  • Serial port

MS Office 2003 productivity suite and some Adobe publishing software are already installed.

Sony Vaio laptop for sale - such a wide variety of ports and drives

With such a wide variety of ports and drives it could be a useful media hub for a vintage computer fan. The Firewire port could also be used with an external capture card to record retro computer game console action.

It is priced at £49, the price even includes delivery within the UK. I can send to some European locations too, but please ask for a quote first as this could be quite a high sum.
