This Acer Aspire 5935 laptop computer is one of a batch of machines that used to be our break out room stock at larger conferences. It has been flight cased from new and as a result this Acer Aspire 5935 is in near mint condition, unlike so many examples found on eBay, Gumtree, etc.
It hasn't seen much use in the last few years, but fired up immediately without issue and has continued to run on soak test reliably. The battery holds charge well and provides 2 hours of use, inexpensive replacements are available on eBay if needed.
It has a bright and vibrant 15" WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution HD LED screen.
The hardware specification is as follows:
It has the Grub boot loader installed and can be run with the original Windows Vista operating system or alternatively the popular Ubuntu Linux distribution. It has also been tested with Linux Mint 19.2 "Tina" - Xfce (32-bit) which would be a great free upgrade with a Windows like interface. It would be perfect for general web browsing, Skype, YouTube, etc.
It is priced at £50, the price even includes delivery within the UK. I can send to some European locations too, but please ask for a quote first as this could be quite a high sum.
