This passive parallel port switcher was made by RS Components, the RS part number is 470-572 and it comes in a distinctly retro cream and brown textured finish.
The front panel has a rotary selector A/B switch, the rear panel has two DB25 inputs and a common DB25 output.
The switching works in both directions; so the unit can be used to share two peripherals connected to a single computer or alternatively share one peripheral between two computer. The last time I used it, I had a Zip Drive and a printer both running from the one parallel port on my laptop.
It is in good condition without any faults. Priced at £15, which includes delivery within the UK (Highlands and Islands excepted).
