Sold - Monty Python's Flying Circus Vintage PC Game - £15

And now for something completely different :-) A bit like Marmite you are either going to love or hate this Monty Python's Flying Circus themed retro DOS game. The entire game is contained within a single 1.44 Mb diskette.

For sale - Monty Python's Flying Circus Game - £15

The box contains the original blue diskette and the user guide (which list the anti piracy passwords needed to start the game). Although the action in the gameplay is simple and relatively straightforward, the designers seem to have gone to great lengths to add Python-esque references wherever possible.

Monty Python references abound throughout this game

As Gumby makes his way through each level, he must collect cans of Spam to win a piece of his brain at the end. One mini-game challenges the player to contradict everything the on-screen character says in the style of the "Argument Clinic" sketch.

"This side-scrolling platform title is full of artwork, animations, and inside jokes from the popular British television series Monty Python's Flying Circus, which originally aired on the BBC in the early 1970s and enjoys continued popularity in syndication around the world. The player guides D.P Gumby through four "completely different" worlds, in search of parts of his missing brain. The game's graphic style is based on the cutout animations of Terry Gilliam and should be instantly familiar to fans of the television show and movies."

It is in good condition without any obvious signs of use, it is priced at £15, the price includes delivery within the UK. I can send to Europe and the USA, but please ask for a quote first as this could be quite a high sum.
