Sold - Manfrotto Wind Up Lighting Stands Case - £69

Here's another road-show favourite from back in the day and in my humble opinion is the safest way to transport a pair of heavy duty wind up stands. It is much easier to wheel into the venue than something in a bag or loose. Your precious equipment is going to last a lot longer and your hard earned earnings go a lot further with this flight case. So, let's get down to specifics.

Flight case - equipment will last longer

The dimensions are; 183 cm x 39 cm x 33 cm, a very generous size, but do bear in mind that this is going to be too large to fit in a car and when packed will be quite a weight.

The flight case is constructed from ply, covered in a satin black, plastic veneer. The hinged lid is secured by 2 large, recessed, industrial grade butterfly catches, complemented by 2 spring loaded recessed flip handles, heavy duty corners and 4 x 100mm castors with blue rubber non-marking wheels.

There are a couple of ply divider/supports to keep a pair of Manfrotto wind up lighting stands in place whilst in transit. They can be easily removed should they not suit your purposes.

There is some minor surface patination of the metal parts, and bits of wear and tear, but everything still works properly.

It was originally owned by Promuseast and still has the odd stencilled logo or two and the original tour label.

This type of heavy duty road trunk style flight case would cost from £150 upwards new. I have priced this at £69 for a speedy sale, the castors alone would cost around £80.
